Well Cody, I made it home. 6127 miles in exactly 21 days. my butt, my bike, and one busted baby finger are pretty near worn out. but ya know what, if it meant i get to spend more time down there in Gustine I'd do it all again in a minute. Was sure nice getting to meet you and spend some time with you. Hope to do it again next June when I'm down that way for ROT. I was born in Monroe, Louisiana and first rode with my Daddy who was stationed at Selman Field in Monroe, La. at the age of 6. I am now an Oregonian by the grace of God for the past 20+ years. (In a nut shell) Retired from Emergency Room nursing...turned 50, took my first bike course, bought a HD, shaved my head and got a tattoo. I am not an experienced biker by any means, but have learned so much from the ones that have come into my life. I am grateful to be riding with people who are giving me lessons in life and biker styles. I am much more road worthy and wise because of them helping me. I hear from ~BG~ you are a great man, who will give to people if they need you. Hey you old coot...told ya' I'd stop by and say hello to everyone. Okay...HELLO!I've already lost memory of the passwords to the other areas so you're gonna' have to send 'em via email so I can store 'em away for future use and not forget.I still have your site design somewhere on my computer and I'll try to get ya' the extra buttons designed; but it's probably not gonna' be for a few days...just got too much on my hands right now with personal stuff. My Fatboy is still eating batteries...I think she's got some over-powering in the alternator/rectifier circut...it's just gonna' take some time to work it out I guess. BarHD found Elizabeth a good buy on a little Mazda but it's a 5-speed and she understand clutches about as well as she knows what a socket wrench is...it's a hoot to watch her drive off in the morning...LOL.I'm hot on the trail of the home insurance company to fix the ceiling in my garage and have a contractor (Hector) who is interested in buying Liz's old car and is giving me a solid estimate for the work. Weird thing...the insurance company will pay to replace the ceiling in my garage but they won't pay to have the shingle damage on the roof where the leak started...seems pretty stupid to fix the interior ceiling if ya' ain't gonna' pay for the dadgum shingles...go figure...those insurance people are weird.For those of you that know of the R.O.T. (Republic of Texas Rally)...it's coming up on us quick in the month of June. It's a good rally and there is free camping on site at the Expo Center. Check with: http://www.skunkdotsbikernews.comfor the latest info...c'mon down and we'll have a cold one. There should be about 30,000 bikers and some good bands and tons of used parts to pick through.Cody, your car should be ready sometime late this day (Monday) or at worst on Tuesday. It should be worth the wait because she was in serious need of a new face and it's the only way I know that Liz and I can can repay you for allowing us to use it...Brother...I do thank you.Say hello to Joy and Lynn for me. As I was going through the music store yesterday a friend was insisting on buying me a c/d for Christmas I ran across a Willie Nelson greatest hits. As I smiled I thought of you. I got that c/d and brought it here to the university were now during finals weeks I have more students in and out of my office than I know what to do with. With Willie playing in the background a student asked me who that guy was in the pictue hanging on my computer. I proceeded to sit down take a joyful full breath and tell about a geniune wonderful man I spent a month with this last summer. A man who probably does not know how much he has effected and changed my life. A real man with a real heart. A man I love and respect. When I finished my story and opened my eyes I went from one person being in my office to a crowd all standing there hushed. Cody...have been trying to work through the details on havingmultiple boards. Some geek I talked to said he'd take care ofit (from the Host) and the next thing I knew, neither boardwas working. I've been looking at the CGI script but I'm nottoo sure that I'm gonna' have any other choice other than tostart from square "one" to solve the problem. Ride safe.

Brother Cody,Thank you for your kind words. We both have been there and done that, from Nam and all the Paths we have followed since then that has brought us together as Brothers.You know Bro how hard it is to lose a Brother to the Final Ride. You also know that it seems to be even harder to lose a Bro when they are still living. and feel that way about all my Brothers.
